Somewhere across the meadow, there’s lies the figure of a proud mountain foreshadowing the ocean. The land tapered to the south, the sea easily mistaken as milk, wrapped us deep within itself. Soft breeze caressing the cattails, swaying back and forth. What light through yonder window breaks? Mr. Sun shone with diamond hardness, blessing the earth with its rays, lighting every dark corner from my eyes to the deepest part of my heart. Picturesquely scenic, beautifully breathtaking, that God must be an artist.
The day is so enchanted, and yet, we can’t see it.
The dark façade of our live stories that we don’t share get us cowering under the grey clouds. The fact of having to live under other people’s mercy… it was just too frightening for us to endure. Your heart will be broken today and nobody will pay a heed. You walk around with plastic smile gracing your lips. It’s almost too scary what a smile could hide. How much secrets lies beneath it… It was all written in the eyes, and yet… no one was able to read it.
If we could actually see what’s inside other people’s heart. Feel what they feel, heard what they heard… will this profound microcosm of life change what we thought about them? Everyone go through hardships. We all have been there. We all live it. Just like how we were all born under different circumstances, we all have our own stories. We write our own travelogue; the life that live. But very few remains as history. Some were forgotten… some ended before it even started.
Sometimes we were scared to fall. Because we couldn’t be sure if we did, who would be there to bring back our broken pieces together…
